This is why I stopped following boostyouresteem. It felt like a double standard. Obese is beautiful but obese is also unhealthy and means you don’t love your body. It wasn’t helpful to me to read that kind of language and I booked it. I also quit reading because of the relationship advice, which I was skimming over, but I was willing to skim over until the obesity = unhealthy as anorexia.
Struggling a lot with self-love and my own body acceptance and being triggered by a lot of anti-obesity talk in ways that I haven’t been before. So I jumped ship.
